Wie spiele ich ABYSS?
Du steuerst ein Tauchboot in völliger Dunkelheit. Stehst du still, leuchtet dein Licht auf, enthüllt die Kreaturen und feuert automatisch — verbraucht aber Energie. Bewegst du dich, bist du im Dunkeln verborgen und lädst nach. Behalte dabei deinen Sauerstoff im Auge und tauche immer tiefer.
Worauf sollte ich achten?
Sauerstoff läuft ständig ab — sammle Luftblasen. In der Werft rüstest du dein Boot mit Bergung auf. In den Tiefenpassagen steuerst du träge durch enge Felsschächte: weiche den Wänden aus und sammle Licht & Luft. Und: Du erhältst genau einen Reparaturkasten — setz ihn nicht zu früh ein.
Brauche ich eine Internetverbindung?
Nein. ABYSS läuft vollständig offline. Eine Verbindung brauchst du nur für die Game-Center-Bestenlisten und das Sichern von Rang und Punktestand.
Gibt es In-App-Käufe oder Werbung?
Es gibt keine Werbung und kein Pay-to-Win. ABYSS ist ein Premium-Spiel, das du mit Können bezwingst — auch der Reparaturkasten ist kostenlos. Etwaige Käufe (z. B. die Vollversion) laufen ausschließlich über den App Store.
Mein Fortschritt – geht der verloren?
Dein Fortschritt wird lokal auf deinem Gerät gespeichert; Rang und Punktestand werden zusätzlich über Game Center gesichert. Solange die App installiert bleibt, bleibt dein Fortschritt erhalten. Über „Zurücksetzen" in den Einstellungen oder eine Deinstallation löschst du alle lokalen Daten.
Was ist die Quelle?
Ganz unten in der Tiefe wartet das Finale auf dich. Mit gut ausgebautem Boot und dem richtig eingesetzten Reparaturkasten ist es bezwingbar — danach geht es als „Echo der Tiefe" endlos weiter.

How do I play ABYSS?
You pilot a submarine in total darkness. Stand still and your light comes on, reveals the creatures and fires automatically — but it drains energy. Move and you stay hidden in the dark while it recharges. Keep an eye on your oxygen and dive ever deeper.
What should I watch for?
Oxygen always runs down — collect air pockets. In the Shipyard you upgrade your sub with salvage. In the Deep Passages you steer heavily through narrow rock shafts: dodge the walls and grab light & air. And: you get exactly one repair kit — don't use it too early.
Do I need an internet connection?
No. ABYSS runs fully offline. You only need a connection for the Game Center leaderboards and to back up your rank and score.
Are there in-app purchases or ads?
There are no ads and no pay-to-win. ABYSS is a premium game you beat with skill — the repair kit is free, too. Any purchases (e.g. the full version) are handled exclusively via the App Store.
Will I lose my progress?
Your progress is stored locally on your device; rank and score are additionally backed up via Game Center. As long as the app stays installed, your progress is kept. "Reset" in the settings or uninstalling deletes all local data.
What is the Source?
The finale waits for you at the very bottom of the deep. With a well-upgraded sub and a well-timed repair kit it is beatable — afterwards it continues endlessly as the "Echo of the Deep".
